Walk-Off Win Makes Bayamon 4-12
Bayamon picked up a win at Campo de los Vaqueros, toppling the Guayama Brujos, 4-3. Pitcher Marcos Alonso was one of the reasons the Vaqueros triumphed. Alonso got the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. Alonso allowed 3 runs. The win brings the Vaqueros to 4-12, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Bayamon trailing 3-1, Cresencio Navía hit a fastball from Plutarco Meléndez for a 3-run home run, giving the Vaqueros the walk-off win.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Alonso said in reaction to the win.
