Cardinals Suffer 6-4 Setback
|
The Boston Beaneaters racked up a win at South End Grounds 1894-1915, bumping off the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4. Jim Whitney, who started for Boston, pitched effectively for his team. Whitney went the distance for Boston. He gave up 4 runs on 9 hits. Boston is now 49-32, while St. Louis is 43-38.
