A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Perth Caber Tossers and Inverness Thistles.

The Perth Caber Tossers got a stellar performance from pitcher Jerónimo Beauchamp, who handcuffed the Inverness offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Thistles Grounds. Perth sits at 3-7.

Perth relied on the bat of Íñigo Pichardo to get the win. The shortstop ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Caber Tossers ahead, 4-0. For the game, Pichardo had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"It feels good to get this one," Beauchamp told the Perth Daily News.
