Vejigantes Come Back Late to Clip Capitanes
Behind the hitting of Pedro López, the Loiza Vejigantes stopped the Mayaguez Capitanes, 7-6. López went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Vejigantes. The win puts Loiza at 7-10.

Martín Martínez was the walk-off hero for Loiza. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vejigantes first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
