Reds Reel Off Another Win
The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Polo Grounds 1890-1910, taking down the New York Giants, 6-4. Starting pitcher Peek-A-Boo Veach was a big reason why. Veach went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 6, and struck out 4. His record improves to 9-7. Cincinnati has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Bryan Dowler, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Dowler contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Cincinnati up, 3-2.
