Arroyo starter Edelmiro Romero pitched well against the Moca Rebeldes at Jardines de Arroyo. The right-hander led his team to a win, 8-4. Arroyo is now 13-4.

Had Germán García not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, García hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Bucaneros.

"Enjoyed this one," García told the Arroyo Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
