Van Haltren Finds Groove in 3-1 Triumph
The Chicago Colts topped the Boston Beaneaters, 3-1, in National League action at West Side Grounds 1894-1915. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and St. Louis, Missouri, native George Van Haltren. With the win, Chicago pushed its record to 16-13.
