Galway took on Belfast in front of a lively crowd.

Galway third baseman Fursey Johnson helped his team beat the Belfast Bards, 8-7. Johnson went 3 for 5 for the Harbourmasters. The save was credited to Steven Kay, his 2nd.

Johnson had a clutch at-bat in the top of the eighth for the Harbourmasters. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Galway trailing 7-6, he hit a 2-run single.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Johnson said after the game.

The win takes Galway to 3-3.
