Belfast pitcher Carlos Sosa did his part in helping his team beat the Galway Harbourmasters, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win puts Belfast at 4-1.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Rhys Dowell came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Galway pitcher Sam Doyle, he hit a first pitch cutter for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Belfast on top, 4-2.

"I just try to put up zeroes," said Sosa, "and let the rest take care of itself."
