Swansea Wins, 8-7, in 12 Innings
Cardiff got a terrific game from third baseman Clyde Silcock. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Swansea, 8-7. Silcock went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Cardiff drops to 2-1.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 12th, with Swansea trailing 7-6, Uriel Colón hit a sinker from Stephen Wood for a 2-run home run, giving the Copper Lords the walk-off win.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Copper Lords manager Vincent Kempton. "This one was nice to get."
