Gastro Leads Electricos to Win
A 5-RBI performance from Martín Gastro, who finished 3rd in the LB in home runs with 15 in 1895, helped the Guayanilla Electricos beat the Cabo Rojo Combatientes, 14-9. Guayanilla pitcher Germán Jiménez got the win, upping his record to 16-24. Absalón Rubio got the loss. Guayanilla is now 59-63.

With Guayanilla leading 7-0 in the top of the third, Gastro came up to bat against Cabo Rojo pitcher Absalón Rubio. Gastro hit a cutter to right for a bases-clearing double. His 15th double of the season put the Electricos on top, 10-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gastro.
