Aniceto Tovar made an impact in the 8-6 Maunabo win over Aguas Buenas. Tovar went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Maunabo reliever Homero Lacén picked up the win, while Reginaldo García took the loss for Aguas Buenas.

Hernán Luna, who finished 4th in the LB in triples with 39 in 1894, aided the Maunabo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"We take it day by day here," said Tovar, "and today was a good one for us."

The Jueyeros now have a record of 55-59.
