Ramírez Goes Deep Twice in 13-3 Jueyeros Win
A good performance from catcher Jesús Ramírez helped the Maunabo Jueyeros defeat the Penuelas Petroleros, 13-3. Ramírez was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Jueyeros. Lamberto Tobar picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 11 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. Ramírez had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 cutter from Martín Sigala, he banged a run-scoring double to center, giving the Jueyeros a 4-3 lead. It was the 12th double of the year for Ramírez.

"I really like what we did out there today," Ramírez said after the game.
