René Pagán added some punch to the San Juan offense, helping them outmuscle the Yauco Corsos, 9-8. In the game, Pagán, who finished 4th in the LB in extra base hits with 70 last year, went 2-5 with a home run and a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Metropolitanos go to 64-48.

In the bottom of the sixth, San Juan shortstop Amencuo Regalado had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Regalado stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 9-3, San Juan. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
