Rio Grande and Camuy got after it at Parque de los Murciélagos.

Rio Grande beat Camuy at Parque de los Murciélagos, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Eduardo Contreras. He went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Picking up the win was Eleuterio Vásquez. He went 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 16 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 3.

Contreras had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Servio Serrano, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Cotorras a 4-3 lead. It was the 22nd double of the year for Contreras.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Contreras. "Winning helps."

With the victory, the Cotorras record now stands at 47-61.
