Julio Vega was a vital contributor to the 7-3 Jayuya victory over Corozal. The Cerros shortstop was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. With the win, Jayuya pushed its record to 54-54.

Jayuya used the timely hitting of Ángel Quintero to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cerros on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
