The Santa Isabel Potros defeated the San Juan Metropolitanos, 8-7, in Liga Betances action at Estadio de Santa Isabel. Premislao Rodríguez pulled his weight. The 6-year veteran was 5-6 with 5 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Nehemías Reyes in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Alberto Bernal took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Rodríguez hit a fastball from Alberto Bernal for a run-scoring single. The Potros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
