The San Sebastian Patrulleros took Barceloneta pitcher Francisco Gutiérrez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Jardines de los Patrulleros. The final score had San Sebastian getting past the Marineros, 4-3. Gutiérrez went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 1. San Sebastian reliever Felipe Salas picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Francisco Gutiérrez absorbed the loss. Emilio Castillo notched his 5th save in 7 chances.

Radamés Marqués contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped San Sebastian get the win.

"We take it day by day here," said Marqués, "and today was a good one for us."
