Tainos second baseman Prisco Santiago put his stamp on his team's 7-6 win over the Utuado Montaneses. Santiago went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs for Gurabo in the contest. The Tainos saw their win-loss record go to 50-45. At the same time, the Montaneses fell to 40-55.

Panagiotes García was the walk-off hero for Gurabo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tainos catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Santiago.
