Changos Snatch 8-7 Win from Leones
The Naranjito Changos topped the Ponce Leones by a score of 8-7. Leading the way was center fielder Enrique Navarrete. Navarrete went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Changos. The win was credited to Hestio Mercado in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Cipriano Rangel took the loss. The second-place Changos now have a win-loss record of 49-43.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, Navarrete hit a fastball from Cipriano Rangel for a run-scoring single. The Changos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Ponce manager Mariano Guerra. "The effort was great."
