The Guayama Brujos sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

The Guayama Brujos topped the Toa Baja Llaneros, 4-3, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio de Guayama. The standout performance belonged to Guayama pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Ernesto Cerda. Gabriel Santos, credited with the win, is now 5-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

Alfonso Martínez was the walk-off hero for Guayama. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Brujos catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Cerda.

Guayama, at 38-50, occupies second place in the Liga Hostos Valle Costero.
