Behind an impressive start by Casiodoro Rodríguez, Lajas beat Aguas Buenas, 3-2. Lajas is now 53-31, 6½ games up in the Liga Betances Suroeste.

The Marcianos got a big at-bat from right fielder Noé Pérez. For the game, Pérez went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Lajas a 2-0 lead.
