The Luquillo Soles scored a tight 6-5 win versus the Ceiba Picudos at Estadio de los Soles. Luquillo pitcher Ciro Celis held his own in the contest. Gastón Alfaro picked up the win in relief for Luquillo, while Ezequiel Torres took the loss. Luquillo is now riding a 3-game win streak.

In the bottom of the tenth, Manuel Torres had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring single to center off Ceiba pitcher Ezequiel Torres.

Celis described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
