St. Louis first baseman Hughie Jennings had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 16-12. St. Louis goes to 6-2 with the win.

St. Louis won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Mac MacArthur on the mound for Pittsburgh, center fielder Lew Camp hit a dramatic grand slam home run, bringing Cardinals fans to their feet.

"They're fun to watch and the hitters get to pad their stats but nobody's really happy about a game like that," St. Louis manager Craig Widner. "I promise you I'm not happy."
