The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Eclipse Park II, knocking off the Louisville Colonels, 7-2. Starting pitcher Les German was an essential part of his team's success. Baltimore has a record of 67-72, placing them 5th in the American League.

The Orioles benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Baltimore was leading 5-2 when John McGraw hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Baltimore in front, 7-2.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," German told the Baltimore Bulletin.
