Brewers Bump Off Senators, 10-9
The Washington Senators got a superb performance from right fielder Billy Lush. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Milwaukee. The Brewers won the game, 10-9. Lush was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Kyle Duxbury was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 9 save opportunities. The 6th-place Brewers now have a win-loss record of 53-69.

The Brewers got a big hit from first baseman Charlie Reilly. In the bottom of the eighth, Reilly pounded a bases-clearing double to left-center. His 21st double of the season put the Brewers ahead, 10-4.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Milwaukee manager Jerry Barger.
