Milwaukee Brewers starter Hank Gastright turned in a top-notch performance against the Columbus Solons at Recreation Park II. The result was a win for the Brewers, 9-2. The losses continue to mount for Columbus, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Charlie Reilly, the 30-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Reilly contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Milwaukee up, 2-0.

"I love to hit," said Reilly. "As long as I keep loving it, the game's going to love me back."
