For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Baltimore Orioles topped the Boston Reds by a score of 7-6. Leading the way was second baseman Heinie Reitz. Reitz went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs for the Orioles. Doc Amole earned the win to go to 4-1. He allowed 6 runs on 12 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 9 innings of work.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Baltimore trailing 6-5, Reitz hit a fastball from Scott Stratton for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Orioles had a walk-off win.

"This place was rockin'," said Reitz.

With the win over Boston, the Orioles improved to 40-53.
