The Aibonito Polluelos and Sabana Grande Petateros obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

In a close game at Jardines de Aibonito, the Aibonito Polluelos edged the Sabana Grande Petateros, 5-4. Aibonito right fielder Marco Medina stood apart with his performance. He went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. Adelio Oceguera earned the win to go to 13-10. He allowed 4 runs on 12 hits, with 2 walks and 1 strikeout in 9 innings of work.

Aibonito catcher Samuel Pompa had a key at-bat for the Polluelos in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing right-hander Martín Plascencia, Pompa hit a run-scoring single. It put Aibonito in front, 4-3. For the day, Pompa was 2-4 with 2 singles.
