A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Las Marias Citricos and Juncos Valencianos.

The Las Marias Citricos knocked off the Juncos Valencianos, 7-5, at Coliseo de los Valencianos. Antonio Salazar was a big reason Las Marias won. The center fielder was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He scored 3 times. Justo Treviño got credit for the save for Las Marias. It was his 4th of the year.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Ricardo Moreno hit a sacrifice fly. The Citricos took the lead, 6-5.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Salazar told the Las Marias Bulletin.

The Citricos' win now puts them at 47-28.
