The Adjuntas Santos defeated the Trujillo Alto Macabeos, 10-9, at Campo de los Santos today. Leading the charge for Adjuntas was third baseman Noé Aguilar. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Reliever Telmo Puentes picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. José Jiménez took the loss.

The clutch hit was provided by Camulógeno Castrejón. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off José Jiménez in the bottom of the ninth.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Adjuntas skipper Cicerón Liserio.

The second-place Santos improved to 39-33.
