In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Yauco Corsos picked up a win at Campo de Moca, knocking off the Moca Rebeldes, 8-3. Starting pitcher Telamón Mendoza was a big reason why. Mendoza got the win, improving to 12-8. He allowed 10 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. Mendoza allowed 3 runs.

The Corsos got a gift in the top of the ninth inning, when they were leading 4-3. With two out and the bases loaded, Telamón Mendoza reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 5-3, Yauco.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Mendoza told the Yauco Observer. "It's as simple as that."

The win puts the Corsos at 42-24, while the Rebeldes drop to 31-35.
