Contreras Leads Cotorras to 11-7 Win Over Cuervos
Rio Grande right fielder Eduardo Contreras contributed to his team's 11-7 win over the Patillas Cuervos. Contreras, who finished 2nd in the LB in home runs with 11 in 1892, went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cotorras. With the win, the Cotorras have a record of 29-35.

Contreras contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Rio Grande get the win.

"Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Contreras, cracking a smile.
