In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Arecibo Lobos beat the Aguada Arzobispos by a score of 13-1. Arecibo center fielder Héctor Villarreal deserved the lion's share of the credit. Villarreal was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Lobos. Arecibo pitcher Ángel Domínguez got the win. He's now 5-15. Victoriano Islas was tagged with the loss.

The Arzobispos had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Lobos going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old shortstop Adelmo Tello came to the plate. Tello hit a 2-run triple on a 2-1 fastball from Aguada hurler Victoriano Islas. It was Tello's 8th triple of the year.
