The Ceiba Picudos turned back the Guayanilla Electricos, 6-5, at Parque de los Eléctricos. Troilo Andino, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 2. Ezequiel Torres was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. The second-place Picudos improved to 27-30.

Ceiba used the clutch hitting of Clemente Gómez to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Picudos ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
