Las Marias Gets 7-3 Road Win
The Las Marias Citricos trumped the Rio Grande Cotorras, 7-3, at Estadio de las Cotorras. Las Marias right fielder Ricardo Moreno was terrific. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Las Marias, at 36-20, is 7½ games up in the Liga Betances Cordillera Oeste.

With Las Marias leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Moreno came up to bat against Rio Grande pitcher Luis Rangel. Moreno hit a sinker to right for a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Citricos on top, 4-0.

"The most important thing is that we won," Moreno said.
