The Anasco Fundadores weathered a fine game by Gurabo second baseman Prisco Santiago to upend the Tainos, 7-6, at Jardines de los Fundadores. Santiago went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. Eduardo Costello, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. With the victory, the Fundadores record now stands at 15-40.

Wenceslao Ríos was the walk-off hero for Anasco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fundadores right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Ríos said. "That's how it goes."
