Lares beat Juncos on the strength of starter Édgar Robles's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Lares now owns a record of 23-32.

The Patriotas benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Lares was leading 1-0 when Gabriel Cepero hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Lares in front, 3-0.

Robles told a Lares Herald reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
