The Arroyo Bucaneros beat the Rio Grande Cotorras, 6-3, at Jardines de Arroyo. Arroyo right fielder Víctor Hugo Reyes had an outstanding performance. He was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. The winning pitcher was Apolonio Delgado. He's now 9-3. He went 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits for the Bucaneros. With the victory, the Bucaneros upped their record to 34-8.
Cástico Mendoza hit a bases-clearing triple off Luis Rangel in the bottom of the third, which put the Bucaneros in front, 4-1. Mendoza had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
