Reds Rally For 5-3 Win

The home crowd had a good time watching the Washington Senators and Boston Reds get after it.
Boston Reds starter Scott Stratton was in fine form against the Washington Senators at Congress Street Grounds, leading his team to a win, 5-3. Stratton, now 13-13, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs.
Stratton threw 9.0 innings allowing 3 runs against the Senators. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run that put Boston in front, 4-3.
Stratton called the win "a collective effort."
The Reds now have a record of 44-37 with the win over Washington.
