The Baltimore Orioles and Washington Senators were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Washington Senators beat the Baltimore Orioles, 12-7, at Union Park. Washington shortstop Kip Selbach collected 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 3 runs. Washington reliever Hank O'Day picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Les German took the loss.

With two out in the top of the ninth, Frank Fennelly had a game-changing hit. The Senators pinch hitter slammed a 2-run single off Les German, making the score 9-7, Washington.

"I'm proud to wear a Washington jersey," Selbach told the Washington Today. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"

With the win, Washington pushed its record to 41-29.
