Lenz Excels in 10-7 St. Louis Win
The St. Louis Browns stopped the Washington Senators, 10-7, at Sportsman's Park I. The Browns got a big game from Matt Lenz, who went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. Jack Stivetts got the win, improving to 9-3. He worked 9 innings, giving up 7 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. The first-place Browns have won 4 straight games.
