Reds Need Extra Frames to Get Past Colonels
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

Boston picked up a win at Congress Street Grounds, toppling the Louisville Colonels, 6-5. Pitcher Scott Stratton was one of the reasons the Reds triumphed. Boston is now 21-22, while Louisville is 27-16.

The Reds procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Kiernan Stevens. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It was a test of wills," said Ed Caskin, the Boston skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
