The Washington Senators picked up a win at Boundary Field, knocking off the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-4. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Pete Conway, who played a pivotal role in the win. Conway went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 4, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-3. Washington is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 15 games.

With one out in the bottom of the first, Bill Eagan barreled up a cutter from Dick Burns. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Senators in front, 4-0.

Eagan expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
