Spiders Get 4-3 Win Versus Washington
The Cleveland Spiders picked up a win at League Park I, knocking off the Washington Senators, 4-3. Starting pitcher Egyptian Healy played a key role in the triumph. Healy went the distance for Cleveland. He gave up 3 runs on 9 hits. For the Senators, the loss makes their record 5-9.

Mike Young was 2-4 with 2 singles for Cleveland. The 30-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Ed Morris. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Healy told the Cleveland Observer.
