Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Poetas
The Toa Alta Poetas outlasted the Toa Baja Llaneros, 8-6, in 14 innings. Federico Parra led the way, going 2-for-6 for Toa Alta. The Poetas raised their record to 27-7.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Saúl Rondón came to bat in the top of the 14th. Facing Toa Baja pitcher Uriel Corrales, he hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Toa Alta on top, 8-6.

"We came out aggressive," said Poetas manager Báquides González. "We came out swinging the bats."
