The Adjuntas Santos defeated the Aibonito Polluelos, 6-3, in Liga Hostos action at Campo de los Santos. Adjuntas pitcher Práxedes Carrillo had a standout performance. The loss makes Aibonito 15-16.

Adjuntas won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Tomás Perdomo on the mound for Aibonito, pinch hitter Perseo Santiago hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Santos fans to their feet.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Santiago said.
