If the Arroyo Bucaneros were expecting the pressure of the playoffs to get to Vicente Corona, they underestimated the old man.

The Isabela Gallitos got a strong start from the 39-year-old left-hander. Corona threw 9.0 innings allowing 2 runs as Isabela won the contest 7-2 at Jardines de Arroyo to take the lead in their best-of-9 series with the Bucaneros. The Gallitos now lead 1-0.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Natanael Soto? The Isabela right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Gallitos on top, 2-0. For the game, Soto had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We did a lot of things right," said Soto.
