The Yauco Corsos picked up a win at Parque de los Corsos, taking down the Rio Grande Cotorras, 8-5. Starting pitcher Héctor Reyes was a big reason why. Yauco now has a record of 24-11 with the win.

Severo Lozada hit a run-scoring triple off Senén Pérez in the bottom of the second, which put the Corsos in front, 2-1. Lozada had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 3.

"It was a solid team effort," Lozada said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
