Druids Cruise to Championship of the British Isles with Sweep
The Coventry Motors were simply overmatched by the Wrexham Druids in the International Series.

The end result was a sweep, as Wrexham has cruised to the Championship of the British Isles, with the final win coming at Wrexham Stadium by a score of 4-1.

"We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Dermot Mount, who was named MVP of the International Series. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this."

For the series, Mount hit .500 with a .529 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Wrexham Druids don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Glasgow Shipwrights - Belfast Bards series. Belfast leads the series 2 games to 0. The Championship of the British Isles schedule will be announced after the International Series finishes.
